Sony Xperia Z2 took over the earlier Xperia Z1 although with same back camera but more upgraded features and a bit bigger display. Just as the predecessor, Sony Xperia Z2 is totally waterproofed, can last for up to 30mins in over 1 meter of water and offers the same white, black, purple color.
Sony Xperia Z2 comes with a 5.2-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen (1080 X 1920 pixels resolution, 16,000,000 colors) which is plus 0.2-inch compared to the Xperia Z1. It’ll provide quality pictures with its 20.7megapixels back camera and it has video calls enabled via the 2.2megapixels front-facing camera with 1080p HD video (which is also +0.2megapixels to the front camera.
Sony then flagship Xperia Z2 runs Android 4.4 (kitkat) on a quad-core processor clocking 2.3GHz powered by a 3200mAH battery which is considered much better than the 3000mAH battery capacity offered in Sony Xperia Z1.
Sony Xperia Z2 exists as Sony D6502 offering 3G and Sony D6543 offering 4G LTE both with 3GB RAM size, 16GB ROM which is expandable to 128GB.

Sony Xperia Z3 Compact is a version of the Xperia Z3 with almost all the same features in a more compact body. If you’ve always wanted to experience the amazing features of Sony Xperia Z3 but find the 5.2-inch display very large, the Xperia Z3 compact will be perfect for you.

Xperia Z3 Compact – Design
The Xperia Z3 features a smaller 4.6 inch display which implies it’s more light and portable (weighing 129 grams | 8.6mm thin). The overall design is very identical to the earlier Xperia Z1 compact but it’s much of an upgrade to it and unlike the Z1 compact plastic panel, it features tempered glass panels on the back and front which i believe won’t scratch easily.
As seen in Sony Xperia Z3, the Z3 compact also comes with PS4 compatibility, this feature allows you control your play station 4 from within the same wireless network (your Xperia Z3 compact acts like a second screen), and to get the best out of it you can use the dedicated PS4 controller as shown on the image below.

It’s not a full HD display but the 720 X 1280 pixels resolution (319ppi) is sharp enough. The cameras of the Xperia Z3 compact are both amazing, it features same 20.7 megapixels back camera and 2.2 megapixels front camera of the parent version.

Sony Xperia Z3 Compact runs Android 4.4.4 kitkat with a quad-core 2.5 krait 400 processor, featuring a 2GB RAM, 16GB ROM and 128GB memory card support, what else will be required for a great performance? Nothing. I’ll give the 2600mAh battery it comes with a pass, although it can’t be compared with the 3100mAh of the Xperia Z3.
